The SM College Scholarship is once again open for applications to all deserving Filipino students. For over two decades, the SM Foundation has been committed to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. Qualifications
To qualify for the SM College Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 92% or its equivalent for Grade 12 – 1st semester.
- Must be Grade 12 graduates from public and private schools in covered areas.
- Applicants from private schools must hold a DepEd voucher and must have completed Grade 10 in a public school.
- Must belong to a household with an annual income of not more than Php 250,000.00.
Documentary Requirements
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:
- Two (2) copies of 2×2 ID pictures.
- Birth Certificate (PSA or local civil registrar).
- Latest Grade 12 report card.
- Accomplished online application form.
- Sketch of residence showing the nearest SM Mall.
- Parent’s or Guardian’s Proof of Income such as latest Income Tax Return (ITR), Certification of Non-Filing of Income, or Certificate of Indigency.
Priority Courses
The SM College Scholarship covers various in-demand and future-ready degree programs, including:
- Information Technology & Engineering: BS in Computer Science, BS in Information Technology, BS in Computer Engineering, BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering, BS in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, BS in Civil Engineering.
- Business & Accountancy: BS in Accountancy, BS in Accounting Information Systems, BS in Internal Auditing, BSBA in Management Accounting, BS in Accounting Technology, BSBA in Financial Management.
- Education: BS in Elementary Education and BS in Secondary Education majors (Biology, Chemistry, General Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, English).
